I was driving through the barrio tonight, delivering stuff to the Mexican nationals that are still in our country(thanks Donald) and I realized. These people spray paint everything except an address on their home. It’s the epitome of these bastards life, they could even do it while they are drunk and blasting their tejano music for their entire neighborhood at 10pm but the thought of ever contributing and being part of our society doesn’t cross their mind.

If your work location has signage prominently displayed asking those with symptoms to refrain from entering and a person who knows that they may be sick basically ignores the signs and you become sick and lose time/pay you should be able to take them to small claims to be made whole.

So while I’ve been extremely busy with all this non-essential packages from Gap, American Eagle, Lowe’s, and amongst others I’ve been thinking;

We are considered “essential” however I have yet to see essential packages

We are not and will not receive hazard pay, therefore are we allowed to sue all those non-essential retailers if we catch COVID19 and result in death of a family member or oneself.

Can you prove they made you sick? Maybe they caught it from you and started showing symptoms before you. Did you read the article? Even in cases of STD's where you have to participate in very specific types of behavior, it's still very difficult to prove who gave what to who, who knew they had what and when. The defense could also argue that you failed to take the proper precautions to avoid getting sick.
