Covid-19 has me thinking. Is this the new norm? Every time there’s a new illness that targets the weakest of us we shut down the world? As the population continues to age there will just be more and more of this.

You mean the mass graves that have been used for hundred years in New York to bury unclaimed bodies?

the Illinois department of health said in a press conference today the cdc definition for a covid death literally just means you tested positive for it and you died. You could have died from a gun shot but if you test positive for covid-19 that’s what I gets listed as. That’s what I meant by pumped up numbers.

I actually have a friend that’s a firefighter in queens and his wife a nurse. Yes it was very serious for them for a few weeks but Wyoming isn’t New York City. Kentucky isn’t New York City. Rural Illinois isn’t Chicago. A nationwide shelter in place or lockdown was never necessary. Local authorities should have been allowed to handle it as they see fit.
