BA trying to get stewards to handle the grievances. Wtf is he doing? We routinely go a year before he shows up to handle the backlog of grievances. Ridiculous. Local 391 is a joke!

Good for you. I didnt like what was going on in my center so I talked to a steward. He agreed to step down. We had a vote and i won the steward position.

It's a lot tougher than it seems at face value. But I'm a year in as a steward. I truly enjoy it.

I too valued my time as Steward. Simple but far from easy.

Our center in 391 has over 100 backlogged grievances. No sense of urgency for getting them taken care of

If Stewards don't have the support of their BAs or grievances are not handled, UPS will walk all over the membership. This all falls on your Eboard. Vote them out

391 leadership have been known to be Hofficer sissies. Is your BA just not interested in handling or what?
