Military Recruitment Ads: China vs Russia vs USA. We are Screwed!

I’m surprised mandatory military service isn’t a thing here. Many countries do it.

Be a better country if every male had a mandatory 12 week boot camp the day after he graduates High school. After that, he can go home and start his life or stay in the military.

There are a lot of Hispanics in the Marines. Not many of them are woke. At least the ones I knew.

I did like it, don't get me wrong, I just don't understand the need to separate or define airman.
I have a former girlfriend, whose son I love, he flies Harriers in the USMC, they are both hispanic by ancestory, both Marines.
One is active, his mother is just a fantastically beautiful Marine, both American, that's it.

I don't mean to be the jackass that I am to you, I understand where you are coming from.
In light of the Army ads, I agree with you.

The way I took it was, he separated and defined them to show how, they may all be different ethnicities, but they are ONE and the same, as opposed to the woke Army ad that pointed out the individuality of the people with all the talk of pronouns, the girl with the gay parents, etc. IMO, the Army ad made them look soft and PC, whereas the USAF ad made them look strong and united. Just my opinion.

I understand where you are coming from, when you mentioned the Army adds in a response to me I agreed.
I did like the add, I just find it disconcerting they feel the need address groups.

I will say, I watched it again, I like it more the second time around.

What I don't like about Army ads is they try to make it sound more like playing a videogame than reality. Air Force does that too.

It's a good idea. Less likely to get into dumb wars but greater readiness to fight truly defensive ones, greater social cohesion and discipline, healthier popn, guaranteed work for awhile, etc. a lot of great benefits.

I amended my statement after watching again, I think the General actually is putting forth the message you heard. I'm a jackass, initally I heard touch all bases, don't offend a certain segment, I looked at his face, his eyes the second time around.
I agree and wish I could retract my words.

That doesn’t explain how you don’t care.
I don’t believe much of anything. I try to know stuff. But I do think republican voters have an irrational belief system that’s feeds their distorted POV of the world and that distorted POV makes it very difficult to address our actual issues in America.
