Minimum Wage

You really don't know what the hell you're talking about. I do. Have you ever been sent home because they couldn't afford you? I have. Can't expect higher wage, lower prices and cost of living or even the same amount of hours you were receiving before from a business who also needs to thrive. Why should anyone give you more money for the same amount of hours for the same type of job and lose money because of it? You expect people to aid to you and suffer for your convenience? It doesn't make sense to raise the minimum wage without cutting costs or raising prices somewhere. It's people like you who make Seattle such an expensive place to live..
The more you post the more I understand why you make minimum wage.

Didn't suggest anything.
I asked a question. You still haven't answered it.
I did actually. Just not in the way you wanted me to.
So let me get this straight.
You're saying that all along, they've been giving people more hours than are needed to get the job done, what, out of the goodness of their hearts?
Simple answer, they've been giving employees the amount of hours they can afford to give all along, now that the wage is higher they need to cut the hours or cut somewhere so they can afford workers. Not rocket science, just business. Everything businesses do, they do it to profit or gain from. Why should anyone pay you more for the same amount of hours you were getting without cutting or raising other things within the business? They'll lose profit that way.

Why? Because change is constant. Either adapt or get left behind. This isn't Mayberry miss Hawk.

Ok, we've established that, that wasn't my question though.
The question is how are they going to produce the same amount of product or offer the same service when they have less employee hours being worked.....

Think real hard now.... just maybe you'll be able to figure this out.

Use your brain and go back and read. You're backtracking now trying to make yourself look smart. I answered your question.

We can go all day, the fact is..you can't expect higher wage without increasing prices, decreasing hours, cutting jobs in a city with high taxes that increase all the time. It's not possible.

The answer is increased productivity.
You're in over your head here.

Honestly your posts have almost convinced me you don't deserve a living wage.
