Let me ask you a question. If you were running for sheriff and chose as your campaign manager the drug kingpin from three towns over, do you think some eyebrows would rise? If your son were to be known to be cavorting with people trying to secure the release of the kingpin’s lieutenant, do you think it would go unnoticed?

If you won and fired the local prosecutor because you didn’t like the questions being asked, would you expect people to be ok with that?

If you had a history of lying and cheating in business, would you expect people to forget all that?

Manafort was no equivalent of a drug kingpin. And when it was realised he had issues they let him go. Carter Page is universally recognized as a bit of an idiot. Accusations against him were ludicrous, such as being promised a huge stake in a Russian oil company, which would've amounted to over $10 billion Dollars. Or that he met Russian operatives in cities that his passport doesn't show. So ludicrous that Mueller isn't going after him. I'm not saying it has anything to do with Hillary. You said what she did wasn't on the same level as what he did. I pointed out we know she committed crimes and judging by the huge amount of money amassed in both her foundation and bank account it appears she was selling access. That's a huge problem for someone who would be president. We don't know to this day if there was Russian collusion but we do know elements in the DOJ were conspiring to make it appear so. So again, proof of crimes exist for Hillary, so far nothing proven, even alleged, for Trump.

Was nothing there that would've hurt him, that's why. Didn't stop them from trying to get him impeached after the election though. And when emails came out that showed Hillary mishandled classified information Comey had no choice but to reopen the investigation. But he certainly covered for her.

taxi king is its own separate investigation separate from the Mueller probe. It involves tax fraud on business activities that took place from 2012 to 2015

there is some dispute as to the level of partnership between cohen and Freidman.

There is a dispute between the two as to who owed what taxes.

there have been no charges against Cohen. The government is working this to try to find something to charge Cohen with.

sometimes it best to turn CNN/MSNBC off and try to look at a news story from different angles.

In this case the government is actively trying to create a case against someone rather then simply and objectively assessing evidence.

Its much like our current judicial system where judges manufacture laws , legislating from the bench . It should bother everyone when the law acting in a similar fashion tries create guilt through nefarious actions of coercion with known criminals.

But it is a possible act benefiting your political side and will thus receive the appropriate wink and nod of biased approval.

it should also be noted that there appears to be an effort to inflate the body count attributed to this witch hunt. Friedman would be a casualty of his own doing regardless of whether there was a Mueller investigation or not.

if manifort is found guilty he too will be the same. Mueller simply took over an existing investigation into Manifort. that investigation would have continued regardless of whether or not the witch hunt was created.

then you're down to the liar convictions. standard fare for any SP. ask em a bunch of questions try to trip them up, get them on some trumped up lying charge.
then try to turn them against a bigger fish. Not a very credible way to run an investigation.

and so now after all this time and effort it appears Mueller is hoping to do the liar routine to Trump in the hope of getting his cherry. Trump speaks Trumpism. You ask him about the weather and he would never tell you its sunny out. Instead he would tell you about the weather today , yesterday and in the future and then he'll talk about the barbecue he had because of the nice weather. And then who showed up at the barbecue , what they were drinking etc.

its why the libs have so much fun taking his comments about MS13 being animals and twisting it to make it sound like he said it about all immigrants. he answered the ms13 question and then kept talking before finally calling them animals. the gap was all libs and the media needed to separate out the animal comment and spin it differently.

The next time Trump spoke about MS13 he made sure he said MS13 was mentioned in every sentence so the libs and media could not create this separation.

The Trump style of speaking would be very innocent but get him into trouble in a Mueller interview.
