Turns out the transmissions are programmed that way for economy. Maybe a reflash is possible if they change their minds about poor road performance.
What does turning the truck on, then slowly going through 1-P with neutral in between do, diagnostics? Not sure the order is right, just remember a mechanic telling me in case any check engine lights come on to clear them.

Sounds like the transmission prognostics reset hokey pokey.

Who decided 69 Mph was the necessary speed limit on these trucks.
Highway speeds are much faster and we are a hazard to others going so slow

We have trucks that you have to be driving downhill with a tail wind to reach 69mph. I agree we are a hazard driving below the speed limit on highways causing people to get inpatient and try risky passes. I've seen some close calls from people passing me going uphill.
