Unexpected consequences...
Since it takes hours to charge one, my pals & I would make sure to have one of our vehicles on the charger at all times. You would never get to use it.

Any battery swapping scheme would be a disaster, because they would just give you a crap battery, and sell your good one. Eventually, you would barely be able to go 34%, no matter where you swapped. Also, any battery that can be swapped, probably would be stolen, like catalytic converters.

Superchargers are 480 and way more than twice as fast as 240.

I can't speak to any others.

For 300 MI, even the lowest end model 3 could make it comfortably with less than a 30 minute charge. Drive 200. Then get a half fill.
The lower end models have less battery to charge..

nowhere special
Superchangers are potentially great. If there are enough conveniently close to you. And you don't have to wait in line at the charging station. Too much of it is dependent on a perfect world.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Yeah I noticed that 240 was 6x faster than 120.

They are when charging your batteries from say like a 10% charge when you get higher into the batteries charge. Say as in charging a battery from 50%. It all changes. The time to 100% takes longer that last 50%. Compared to the first 50%.

Why do people keep bringing up inferior EVs or awful charging setups like VW? People are just allergic to Tesla or something.

1 charge. 45 minutes. And I make the 600 mile trip the same as you with your 45 minute stop.
I only allow 15 minutes max for gas breaks----ask my wife.

Another problem is your grandma being blocked in by a thug at the charger, and forced off of it. The charging situation would definitely have to change.
The worst problem is. Like what happened in Texas last winter. The electricity goes off for a week. If you didn't charge your car before that. You aren't going to much of anywhere... This is what you get..

Slow and unreliable.
You were saying about reliability?? !lol.....

Complex bells and whistles hurt the reliability ratings of some electric vehicles. Tesla came in second to last overall, with the Model S, X and Y all reporting problems, but Consumer Reports put the Model 3 in the middle of the pack and still recommends it.Nov 18, 2021

Reliability means getting there.

They're measuring build quality and confusing it with reliability.

It's equal. Teslas were sitting pretty during the east coast gas shortage. Our hub cancelled a sort for it because nobody could even come in.
With the majority of posts on Brown Cafe being about "how do I get out of work?" I don't think being able to get to work in a Tesla is much of a selling point.

Nor is utility. Well...if you consider sitting around 2-3 hours every 5 to "recharge".....a selling point.

Nio has sold 80,000 cars and has 700 swap stations.

Per usual in this thread, your guesses are just fiction in your own mind. None of that happens or would happen.
