You are right on the one year thing; however, the work day before and after may vary. In some areas it is either or.

In the Southern, this is correct.
The day before OR the day after.

You just have to work two days that week.

in our local its what he said....gotta work 2 days or zero days and paid sick days and OPHs count as a day worked. a scheduled day off with no pay does not.
