preexisting health issues with new plan

I just got my insurance from UPS!! Went into affect last month. I am still waitting for the INS compay to send me all the paper work. Was just curious in how a preexisting condition will work with the UPS health plan. any info would be great!!

Congrats on the insurance! It's good stuff.

Call the insurance phone number and as them directly. UPS isn't always helpul on these issues. If you don't yet have that phone number ask someone for it.

My husband had a pre-existing condition related to a comp case. We waited a year before asking Aetna if they'd cover another doctor. They said they would and, in fact, would have covered it with no waiting period. So go straight to the source and find out. Best of luck!
