Obamacare technically allowed it but the later added regulations and restrictions made it effectively impossible.

Insurers don't care about selling across state lines - it's a doctor/network problem.

If you think getting a doctor 'in-network' is currently a problem, good luck finding a local doctor when your insurance is based in a state 1000 miles away.

Race to the bottom - sure, you'll be able to buy dirt cheap insurance that won't do a single thing for you.

Sounds great!

the bottom line is without competition prices will keep going up. When there are markets with one insurer the prices are going to be high. Obama care did nothing and could do nothing to stop companies from pulling out. The vast amount of people insured are on Medicare which they got when it expanded

What makes you think those who are on medicaid could afford insurance before Obamacare or after Drumpfcare?

It will be fine

Is there an example anywhere where a market was successfully used for health insurance? Is there any evidence that a free market is a good solution for health care? Markets can be good for most things, I don't believe healthcare is one of them.

they couldn't that why they got Medicare. That's why it was expanded. However the new plan has a work requirement for single, no kids able bodied adults to work if they want it

Interesting concept.
Can you give me an example of where the prices of health care have gone down using this line of thinking?
depends on what area of healthcare you are talking about because prices vary on what your having done. Depends on the plan you had
