I sent the video of the parents reading lines from the books to my 21 year old daughter, who was in advanced classes in middle and high schools. Her reaction was, OMG!! Lol. Even SHE couldn’t believe those books were in the curriculum. She said the raciest book they ever read was The Handmaid’s Tale and her teacher had to get all kinds of approvals to include it.
