Queen Elizabeth is dead and burning in hell

I’m the same way. I DO have much respect for how she fulfilled her duty and responsibilities with grace and dignity for so many years without ever so much as a complaint (that we ever heard of). We also never heard one time that she stepped outside the box and did anything crazy or foolish. How many people can say that?
She had class. Unlike almost all of the other Royals.

Oh yeah. I forgot about him. Don’t you think though, that the people viewing him are doing so more out of morbid curiosity, whereas the people waiting in miles long lines in Britain to see the Queen are doing so out of love and respect?

It costs Russia $200k per year to keep Lenin on display. Sure, plenty do check him out based on curiosity, but there are a lot who pine for the old days of a Glorious and Powerful Mother Russia that Lenin symbolizes to them.

I don't hate the queen I really don't know anything about her but I get turned off with group think and pressure.

How do you come to the conclusion that is group think and pressure?

Let the Brits honor and pay their last respects to a Lady they undoubtably loved as they currently watch their former world power disintegrate.
Queen Elizabeth was the last tie to a noble past they had. The British Crown is dead, it died when the Queen succumbed, as we all will.

Quite frankly I think she was aware she wasn't nobility, she was aware it was a progression and she was a recipient by brith.

The last sentence is strictly my personal opinion.

My biggest problem with her is her helping to cover up other Royal peoples' atrocious behavior. She may or may not have engaged in any herself, but she sure condoned it.

It's kind of like when Kobe Bryant died

She stripped Prince Andrew of his titles. Seems to me most families try not to air their dirty laundry in public. Keeping the monarchy going was not only important to her and her family but to tens of millions of Brits.

I really don’t believe that. I think one day we’ll find out that more went on behind the scenes concerning Andrew than the general public was privy to.

Andrew was a visitor to Epstein island. I'm sure he was involved in a lot of dirty business there and maybe elsewhere but absolutely no chance of any serious consequences for him.

When you have $16 million to pay to make a rape allegation go away, and you pay it, you may be a rapist or an enabler. If the guy was a sum bag, they should have thrown him under the bus to save the royal reputation. The fact that they didn't suggests maybe he was innocent, but it also suggests that he has plenty of forth in everyone else.

Idk I go my entire life aware of her presence on earth but I never give it much thought. One day she's in the news because of her death and I'm supposed to think sweetly of her and if I don't it's shameful. Kinda like Kobe Bryant.
What I get tired of is the constant attacks on institutions. I think it's kind of odd that so many Americans follow the Royals but at the same time any showing of respect for someone who has always been in the background of my life and the knives come out to tear her down. Same behavior on display with the tearing down of statues. Attack our history, attack our institutions, attack, attack, attack. Whatever else she was she was a young woman thrust into a symbolic role due to circumstances. Expected to uphold that role with dignity. In the end she really was a sweet little old lady that most of her country adored. My dad in his heyday could be a real SOB at times. Almost 84 now and he's a sweet old man. In the end that's how I'll remember him. And hope my family will think the same of me someday.

They tried to make like Diana was a saint but she was little more than a brood mare and a tramp.

Lenin is still on display, probably more people have viewed him than anyone in history.
I was in Colombia a few years back, and a church had some long dead saint in a glass coffin.
Somebody google who it was. I forget, and I'm at work. And these crazy people want me to actually do something...
