The UK clarified its position on VIP transport for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral after a leak claimed world leaders would be bussed to London.

While justified with reference to logistical difficulties to do with the event, the measures would have also helped avoid embarrassment for the green-obsessed UK government, who suffered significant bad PR after over 400 private jets turned up for the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow last year.

I'd likely say my nephew, her son, who currently lives in Brazil and works for State Department will likely make the trek "home" if at all possible.

I’m the same way. I DO have much respect for how she fulfilled her duty and responsibilities with grace and dignity for so many years without ever so much as a complaint (that we ever heard of). We also never heard one time that she stepped outside the box and did anything crazy or foolish. How many people can say that?
