No, but there is adaptive shift learning. What learning is really needed is to change methods and habits.Sounds like a learning curve issue?
A Dodge Dart?Ha, if you guys think that sucks, try driving one of the hydraulic hybrid trucks with push button gear shifts.
Much like that. I used to deal with some push button tractors that refused to engage until the engine came off high idle. In cold weather it could take minutes.A Dodge Dart?

I remember a couple of cars with push buttons but they were mostly oddballs.I had a 1964 Plymouth that had a push button transmission. They were the fastest shifting cars at the time.
Slant 6 , lolI had a 1964 Plymouth that had a push button transmission. They were the fastest shifting cars at the time.
My apologies to all the idiots at the UPS think tank.

Cool convertible.Good engine.
Except when it rained.
I had a friend that had a Duster with a slant 6. Pretty good car but definitely not a hot rod.Cool convertible.
What happened in the rain?Good engine.

Its just a sensor that goes bad over time from water spashing up from the front wheels. super easy to fix, plug and play, at least on the Allison transmissions. I thought my linkage was going bad but its just a Voltage thing. At first its just when you shift quickly into R. It can be dangerous when you are timing a 3 point back in traffic and reverse just quits leaving you out there.Giant middle finger directed at whoever put this dumb feature into the package cars.
I hope there is always snow in your driveway, and that the zipper on your jacket gets stuck and your phone charger stops working.
Wouldn't run when the wiring got wet. What happened in the rain?
Makes you wonder if there have been service bulletins on the sensor? Its just a sensor that goes bad over time from water spashing up from the front wheels. super easy to fix, plug and play, at least on the Allison transmissions. I think you've also mentioned something before about the back up monitors.I mentioned this before. It is not the design by UPS. It is the transmission TCU software created by the manufacturer of the transmission.
