Well, I'm only 57. "Normal retirement age is 62-65. I've had free insurance all my life(UPS) and I'm making the most money ever, for me. I can't get Medicare for10 years! Or SSI for 5 years. And I will take a 70% cut in pay. I was fortunate enough to go full time at 19 yo. I'm just not ready to lose everything.
