Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
A couple of years ago our safety committee did give them out free but I know of no regulation that requires or would require UPS to pay for these.

Therefore I would not come on the BC and demand this.
Nor would it do any good if you did.

Merino socks are good advise. Darn Tough make the best socks IMO, and they have a lifetime warranty. You get a hole, send em in and they give you a voucher.
Bring an extra pair of shoes/boots in case you do soak thru, have something to change into.
I wear long johns all winter. Upper and lower, then another layer over that, then my long sleeve and vest. Good for everything down to about 15 and super windy.
Multiple gloves to swap out is another good piece of advise.
I second Darn Tough socks. A little pricey, but completely worth it. Got a bunch of pairs years ago when I was a wildland firefighter and those socks held up through conditions most UPSers can’t even imagine lol
