They weren't equivalent at all. The women's march had millions of attendees across the nation with no violence. The scale gave ample opportunity for incidents and nothing happened.
The Nazis rally with a few hundred people and someone gets murdered by them.

There is evil, people should stand against it when it is glorified. The Nazis rallied for hate and when people stood against them the Nazis killed them. I don't understand why people are defending the Nazis and blaming the people that opposed them.

Actually his point was that since the right wing didn't protest the women's march, the left shouldn't protest the nazis:

I was talking about the entire Anti or Counter protesters who were trying to deprive the permit holding right wing protesters from exercising their 1st Amendment rights.

Again, the basic message of some is that counter protesting a white supremacist pro confederate statue protest is wrong and asking for violence and kind of puts you close to the same moral footing as those white supremacists.

Smh.

This is a bad argument both for its immorality and its irrationality.

As Americans we should want our fellow Americans to stand up to white supremacists when they protest. They are kind of representing American values when they do.
