You sir are correct. I had been given some bad info which I will now consider an unreliable source. Just read an article on Forbes that answers alot if questions.

I am not even a Teamster. I am a Machinist. The sad thing is I know more about what is in the teamster contract than 90% of the teamsters in my building.
Part of the reason is when we have a gaping hole in our contract which is not much larger than a pamphlet Labor goes by the teamster contract. Our union usually agrees to it and it becomes the way it is done.
