So... are you stopping by for a quick bang? Let management know it’s the only time you can see your mistress without the wife finding out. They’ll understand.

Many moons ago, 4 drivers and myself would meet for lunch on Fridays. We changed locations weekly, and parked out of sight if we could. One of the drivers drove 15 miles off his area, one way. Good thing we didn't have telematics back then.:speechless:

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true!!
About once to twice a week during my route I stop by a friends house to hang out for about 15 to 20 minutes. She's not on my route but lives close to my route. I have been doing this for a couple of months now do you think If management found out there will be any discipline action.
Is there anything and policy against this that might lead up to discipline action or term nation
15-20 minutes?? You watch 10-15 minutes of TV afterwards??

How long before he comes on here asking how to get time off for a non work related injury? (Possibly from her boyfriend coming home while he is "visiting" her?
AND, how will he explain to the c m why he cannot finsh his route?

Unless she lives within a mile of your route, I'd recommend not doing it.

Or do it.

If you seriously need to ask this question, I'm guessing your time with UPS wont be lengthy anyway.

Every truck in my Center has this thing called GeoTab. They know exactly where ur going. If they haven’t said anything stop doing it immediately. The fact you haven’t been caught yet means you’re incredibly lucky.

Bad news is, going off route to steel time is a slam dunk termination case. Actually, steeling time on your route is too, come to that.

Good news is I figured out what center you're in and had a buddy in IE pull up your records and drove by the scene of your crime so to speak. More good news, your girl is hawt. PM me her number, let her know I'll be calling in a day or so and that she should be, let's say friendly and accommodating, and I'll make it all go away...

Seriously o/p you really don't think they're going to notice a 15 to 20 min gap in your delivery records likely around the same time of the day? Gee what might happen then? Maybe follow you? Hopefully they won't peek in the windows on you.

He obviously hasn’t heard of telematics... lol.

I don't suppose the neighbors are gonna notice the big brown truck parked there for an extended length of time and the driver entering the house?

(rocket science)

And then someone calling in because they seem to be there for a really long time...

instead of worrying about wether or not you’re going to get in trouble maybe you should think to yourself wether or not it’s smart to risk a six figure job with the best benefits in the industry to go “hangout” with a friend. Time to put the big boy pants on and separate personal and professional time.

You bet your ass there's trackers. What you do is stop doing it and deal with it if something comes up regarding your past actions.
There’s even trackers for when you don’t move for an extended period of time. My buddy last peak fell asleep on his lunch for an hour and a half. Set off all sorts of alarms
