In 1901 Britain blamed overpopulation for the Indian famine of 1899-1900. One million lives were claimed. It was British economic policy and racism the caused famines in India. In the 21st century this Malthusian nonsense is still pushed by the likes of Prince William.

England’s potato dependency saw them on the brink of a famine in 1845. They had to import vast amounts of alternative food. The answer? Ireland. The British didn’t just take Ireland’s surplus but took all of food lock, stock & barrel in a bid to exterminate the Irish people.

Footballer Nemanja Matic has said he will not wear a poppy because it reminds of when his village was bombed by NATO in 1999. Britain dropped 531 cluster bombs on Yugoslavia, many falling on civilian areas. Well done to Matic for making a noble stand like James McClean.

I wonder why Britain dropped all of those bombs? Could it be the genocide Serbians were carrying out in Kosovo? Hmmmm......

its probably more BS lies from government as usual like most wars
So in other words, if the victims of one government(Kosovars attacked by Serbs) aren't as important to you as the victims of a government you despise(Serbs attacked by Great Britain, part of the NATO attacks to stop the Kosovo genocide) then you deny there was a reason for Great Britain to attack Serbia. So basically Ricky you try to shape other's worldview by censoring history. If you aren't an honest agent then why should we believe, consider, ponder anything you say? Why would anyone consider your ideas concerning the economy when they know you deny actual events happened?

Old Man Jingles

Rat out of a cage
. Are you a Holocaust denier also?
Alternate meaning ...

Weight per unit length (linear density) measure of a continuous filament or yarn, used traditionally in textile industry. It expresses weight in grams of nine kilometers (9000 meters) length of the material. Therefore lower the denier number, finer the material; and higher the denier number, coarser the material.

Also:
  1. a French coin, equal to one twelfth of a sou, which was withdrawn from use in the 19th century.
Explains the mass confusion engendered(*) by the statement.
(*) not the archaic definition: to beget. (Trying hard to keep the confusion down.)(For rickyb's sake)
