i was reading a chris hedges article about how the CIA recruited german nazis and japanese torture doctors at the end of WWII to control people and they described the experiments they forced on people, many of whom died.
it sounded like doctor satan from a rob zombie horror movie (which is mediocre film btw).
when a country lets these awful things happen it reflects poorly on america. spying, torture, lawlessness, injustice, tyranny.
the same comparison can be made when you show up to a new job and discover injustice. it many ways its the existing coworkers fault and doesnt say much about them.
