there was a one off poll a few years ago (one off probably because of the results) where people around the world said US govt is overwhelmingly the greatest threat to world peace.
MLK said the same thing, and it holds true today.
I’m pretty sure the world would not be more peaceful if the US were to withdraw its substantial military presence from bases and water bodies around the world. It’s just more ignorant perception versus reality.
