What the hell is going on. I seen in another thread some guy paying over 10 grand in property taxes in New Jersey. My god I paid 10 grand in federal taxes this year. This is insane
We work to :censored2:ing hard and have to deal with so much :censored2: to be paying these kind of ridiculous taxes and fees

Dues in my local are 2.5 times for those up to $15/hr, 3 times for those above $15. Initiation is $200 for up to $15/hr, 30 times the rate for those above $15.
(At one point initiation fees were 40 times above $11/hr.!!!)
The structure was changed a couple years ago so that $15 was the cutoff point instead of $11, for different dues and initiation rate.

Sounds like they hit you with initiation fees and back dues. Initiation fees were a one time payment and union dues should be around 2 1/2 your hourly rate once a month. Initiation fees were 150 last time I checked. Call the union hall and get a explanation 500 is outrageous.
epends on the local
