Seriously???? It seems you have no idea what you are talking about if you're trying to say it take more then 20min to drop air and clerk packages. Even if it does, again brownslave is right. That's a cake route during peak.
We have a three letter word for that type of route. Begins and ends with a T.

My Hub continues to fail, I was missing 70 packages today. Scanned in the Unload, never made it to my car. I was so light yesterday I let my Helper have the day off and I finished at 3:30. The middle of my car has been clean the last two weeks. I can pull in a street with six stops, three will be missing. Missing NDA's disappear for days. They stack Left In Buildings on pallets after we leave in the morning. Some of it gets run, some of it just gets shoved into a trailer. The number of rentals has doubled that the corporate people have been using. I ran into a UPS Foundation lady on my area delivering out of her car using a phone app to record deliveries.

What is going on with management at your building???

Total failure to plan for Peak by a new Division Manager. My Center was twelve Drivers short all year and our Feeder Department took 34 Package Drivers between two centers. Seasonals were hired and trained too late, forgot to order rentals and golf carts, I could go on. We were rolling thirty trailers a day after Black Friday, Missed Pieces were continuing to be recycled. Corporate sent in at least 100 to clean it up and I don't see much progress being made. I have never seen such a disaster in all my years. I have been having an easy time, but I know those boxes are somewhere.

That's what I'm wondering. Our center is fine but I get the feeling that its really bad at some of the hubs judging by the enormous pile of mis-sorts that are cluttering our clerk station.

Packages bound for Wisconsin, Texas and even Alaska. I'd love to know how they got to our little corner of the UPS world. Irregs too. A treadmill with a Nebraska label. Our clerk just pointed at it and laughed.

We've had the same troubles here at Pdale as well. A very severe misjudgment or complete lack of planning this year. They should've known....most of us worked past 8pm almost every day during the summer. At one point this peak I was up to missing 125 stops in EDD even though I completed close to 300 stops. All those missing stops is like watching a snowball rolling down the hill towards you. You know it's coming, it's gaining on you but you are running as fast as you can. I guess the only positive I can take from this peak is that our upper management will probably over compensate and our next few peaks will be easier....I hope.

Sounds like the lovely hub on Marvin Miller.

except for getting new drivers trained, the rest of that is mostly the fault of your IE package planner IMO, even if the DM was weak they could have still arranged most of that

a weak DM + a weak IE planner is a literal catastrophe

are you in Houston btw? that place was a :censored2:ing mess
