As I see the old guard retiring, I see the mainframe jockeys heading out to pasture. However, when last I worked at UPS, the new guard was pouring in. I never skateboarded. I never roller bladed, I never snowbowarded.
The men and women who are running the UPS show today may be a little more advanced than I was, but they represent the old guard going out to pasture. Golfer Scott will be gone in 5 years.
I believe that the "young kids" are the ones who truly know where UPS should be headed. Here's my challenge. All ISers are geniuses. Just ask them.
What would you do to improve the package information process?
What NEW technical, non pakage delivery oriented, businesses should UPS enter, if any?
This is a forum made up of a large number of brilliant individuals. I believe we can OUT-THINK the BOD and Management committee.
