I Don't understand why Democrats don't understand how the economy works . It's not what the minimum wage is , it's jobs and the overall economy . The rise of minimum wage only means that you're devaluing the dollar if minimum wage rises everything else rises with it , food , clothes etc. and all that does is devalue the dollar . Why do you think there's a vast difference between the North and the South !!! You make less money in the south but it's comparable to the price of food and clothes and housing etc!!!

I believe in smaller increases over time , 15 dollars an hour is irresponsible . A figure that was made up by a politician that knows nothing about the economy . When minimum wage forces business to close or make other plans that effect workers there's something wrong . Why do you think people are going south in droves .

Minimum wage is not a living wage because it's not suppose to be a living wage , it's a starting wage for unskilled worker's to learn and advance to better positions and pay . Mostly for kids!!!

Also if you raise minimum wage , then you have to raise everybody else's because that would be unfair to people who have harder working a more skilled jobs !!!!
