No school so a lot of kids were home. My wife's work was closed and not government job. I'm not saying nobody was working, I worked, but many people were off too.

Funny thing is they have 2 half days left here then done... so they may as well be done. They have been doing field trips and outdoor field/game days for the past couple weeks too.

Ours go to the end of this week. Have since I was a kid. Not sure when yours starts but we don’t go back until after Labor Day.

It is, can be there in 15 minutes if the bridge traffic isn’t bad. We go over there a few times a year, Niagara region has some great wineries. And WNY is beautiful, lots of great stuff to do here year round.
