TSP dies. Jobs and route cuts start

They are arriving late because they leave late because the metro volume comes in late and it's a never ending cycle
Right, and management does zero about it. They could have cutoffs in place but they want all the volume out so the cycle continues. Wasn't always this way so what has changed?

It's because @I.E. can't seem to understand that every route is different. :)
this may be hard for you to understand, but the individual package driver level has nothing to do with our :censored2:ty on time network

it's more like, the ops just can't help themselves but trying to run as fast as possible up against the leave building time, no matter what IE says to them one way or the other

oh and our night hubs are overextended

You smell that?

Month before last it was, you can't pull the trailer until it's 100% regardless of pull time.

Last month, it was you must leave by pull time regardless of how much is on the trailer.

Wonder what this month will be?

It's more like IE having unrealistic numbers. You give Ops X amount of hours to process X amount of pieces to make the plan. Ain't gonna happen with your numbers. So they lie, cheat and steal, do whatever they have to, to try and make the plan.

I'll agree to that.

Cheats are going to cheat no matter what; we could give a 10 hour allowance and ops would still find a way to make it sketchy or mismanage it

A goal is just that, a goal; people don't get fired for missing a number on a screen at this company

.Probably. But they would be closer to the plan and pull times would probably be met servicing all the packages.

No, but they are tired of getting bitched out on that conference call every day because they didn't make that number. So they lie, cheat and steal to achieve IE's mythical number to stay off the radar.

Well another fairy tale...we don't get bitched out on conference calls every day...those days are long gone.

It might not have started here because our dispatch isn't as heavy as that on a consistent basis

TSP really only works in bigger centers with excess drivers and package cars. They do this every year to cut overtime and bring the pickup volume in by (insert time here).

LOL you’re joking right? I was just in the office waiting to go over grievances with my manager and caught the tail end of a pretty good ass chewing for everyone on the conference call.

So you speak for every center? You should know as well as anybody every center is managed wildly different from one another
