Unused sick pay...

Can roll up to 40 hours a year but can't have any more than 80 hours on the books at a time.

Some have said that if you do roll them over, but don't use them next year you lose those banked hours and are not paid out for them.

I know keyword mapbank asks how many hours you want to add to bank from what you have available.

Anyone have all the details yet? No info given at my station yet though currently we have 1 manager with 2 open management positions waiting to be filled and he is on vacation lol.

You have to put in a Justification as well. So is this a case by case basis or what. Shocker not one manager knows anything about it here.

Once time goes in the bank. it will be left there until any other sick pay is used up, at which time it can be accessed. If you retire or lose your job, anything in the bank is forfeited.

This is correct. You don't lose them unless you leave the company. Each year's MAP is used first then you can access banked hours. Banked hours are not eligible for MAP bonus.

Question about the MAP bank: is this for all Express employees or just certain states? I went to the MAP bank page on the company computer and the page was locked out. Might have just been a maintenance issue-

Mine is not locked out but shows locked for a Co-worker. However someone said it is not an option for those in my state. Still haven't got full details at my station.

I know there are exceptions based on certain state/local laws.

Sick pay is on this Friday’s check for those that still get it. I’m thinking taking sick days benefits me more than the payout now that Express has become such a goat rodeo.

Wow. Are so you broke you cant wait till the check comes, no matter the date. Lay off the 40's, scratch off tickets and Starbucks and maybe you will enjoy the MAP payout when it arrives.
You’re a fine person to give advice about scratch off lottery tickets. After all, isn’t that how you got wealthy? Certainly wasn’t from smart planning.

I wasn't the person panicking over the fact that a MAP payout wasn't arriving until the 4th paycheck of July. These people are in an uproar because their MAP payout is arriving later in July. Can they not live till the 4th payday? Maybe they can get a payday loan or a title loan to get them by till the check comes. Funny thing is, I bet the ones that cry the loudest won't have more than a day or two of sick pay coming.

My winnings barely covered my gap in medical premiums when until my retiree reimbursement kicked in. My 40 year plan allowed me to retire and live the good life. Your plan forced you to scrape by and live in misery. Big difference.

One more time, prove it!!

You like to brag like there’s no tomorrow. Where’s your retirement badge?

The truth be told, your old lady probably won’t even let you retire.
