If it's like last time extra freight will be refused unless long term commitments are made by the shipper. Large shippers will just be SOL unless we change what we did last time.

Won’t they just work without a new contract and just get back pay when they settle. I don’t see them letting a strike happen.

We have done that several times and it's BS. The company is collecting interest on the raises we should have gotten.

We won't go on steist unless they refuse to bargain in good faith

No excuus for every contract to be settled late.

America may soon face its biggest labor strike in decades

Feel free to discuss what this may mean for fedex ground/express. As well as Sunday deliveries and other shipping companies...
Our terminal is right across the street from ups. I can’t imagine what our drivers are going to be thinking when the guys getting paid $20,000 more a year with great benefits are striking and they are working 2 extra hours a day trying to figure out this new vision system.

This is not a hockey city. I’ve never seen so many people so excited about a hockey game.

Nashville was like that last year when I was there. The bandwagon filled up at record speed. Nashville was defeated early in the playoffs this year. The bandwagon had people jumping off at record speed.

They said the seats for the viewing party tonight were gone in seconds, 70,000(?) seats. So I guess that’s how many were sold for the game last night.
