How I understand it is UPS may want to buy out more pension plans that are going belly up like central states. Also they just didn`t drop non union pension, they transferred funds to a different plan.

Possibly his stupidest one yet, and I say that because of the one where he is wearing the ups uniform, in the truck, friend bombing while on the clock was very stupid. This one makes zero sense.

He had a good point on the pension in the “memorandum of understanding “. On the team rising website it says the company won’t try to move pensions for 10 years (2 contracts?) But they actually changed it to 5 years. Which coincides with managements pension cutoff. They hope we don’t see it. WAKE UP PEOPLE..... Read end of proposed contract and tell me what yall see....
It was language from last Contract, when it was 10 years. Now we are in the next contract wher it is 5 years. No conspiracy there. As far as getting out of the management Pension. They have to in order to keep giving us more. This is the same with the healthcare. If you are in management you have to pay $150 a month extra to smoke. We do not. For management your wife has to get off your medical if her employer offers medical. We do not. Same goes with smoking. Also if you are hired into management after 2008 you weren’t receiving a pension. Another this they have to do without so we can have it. Just some food for thought.
