those things are only "free" to the people who dont pay taxes. i pay $6000 a year (which is actually cheap for my area) for my local "free" police, parks, libraries, public schools, firefighters, etc..

Yup, he also was some sort of contractor for the USMC in another thread where he claimed to be paid over 100k a year with access to a private plane and could pick his missions. So of course he comes to UPS and pushes cardboard at 10 bucks a hour for a little while and then one day remembers....
OMG... I forgot I have this fancy degree.. I can get a job that starts at 190k a year with full benefits and have a 19 year old girl get me coffee.

Because it's true ! When I started as a Driver in 1978 the center manager called the shots in our bldg. By the time I left 34 years later.He could not put an extra run in without calling the dist. office.He was reduced to just a shirt and tie all puffed up with very little power.

Um..no. I quit contracting as I got custody of my son, and decided to finish college. UPS paid the while I finished.

And you should be. It's a ponzi-scheme. It's an illusion. You were promised something for nothing. You can't have an entire generation about to retire (boomers) and not have consequences. Where do you think the money for your pension is going to come from?
Pro-tip: The younger drivers still employed by UPS. You payed into it all of this time, only to have the Teamsters tell you "Opps, sorry there is no more money. You're going to have to take a pension 'cut'." There is going to be a pension crisis soon, much sooner than you realize.
Instead of relying on someone else to take care of you during your old age, you should of saved up and invested wisely.
