Not gonna let ‘em catch the Midnight Rider
The RN went to school for 2-4 years. The MBA, 6-8. I worked at UPS busting my ass in a truck for 12 years before I got a shot at driving a tractor. I earned my spot and my wage. The RN and MBA knew what the wage would be for their professions and they accepted it, not my problem. By the way, I was a surgical tech full time in the OR for 5 years while working at UPS waiting for my turn. The hospital work was the easiest job I’ve ever had so you can stop acting like the nurse is some sort of unsung hero.![]()
One works in the ER and saves lives on an almost daily basis. The other is working his way up the corporate ladder.
You deliver cardboard boxes using a handheld device that tells you which stop is next, where the box is (supposed to be) loaded and where to leave it. It then tells you where the next stop is.
Do you really think that we deserve to be paid upward of $40/hr for a job that requires only the ability to follow a pre-navigated route?
