Women and Drones CEO Sharon Rossmark created the Women and Drones Global Awards four years ago, in hopes that shining a spotlight on some of the exceptional women in the drone industry would inspire many more.  It’s been a great success: and as the drone industry grows and matures, diversity is increasing.

This year, in conjunction with the fourth annual Women and Drones Global Awards, FOX Corporation has joined the organization to sponsor the  2020 Fox Piloting Innovation Award. Today, Women and Drones announced that UPS Flight Forward has been chosen as the 2020 winner.

UPS Flight Forward is UPS’ wholly owned subsidiary drone airline – and it has been judged outstanding according to the Fox Piloting Innovation Award criteria: establishing a drone education program available to all employees; demonstrating a culture where female colleagues are encouraged to become certified drone pilots; and including women in the total number of certified drone pilots across the organization.

Being a dog lover, what do you want your perfect day to look like? Probably a happy day where you can play with so many dogs. Now imagine doing this thing everyday as a part of your job. Aah, sounds like a dream job, right? Well, of course, it does and this thing is possible. Yes, you have read that right! This is possible for people who work for UPS live. When these people go to their work and deliver posts, they get to meet their customer’s dogs. That’s so great!

Among all, there is one particular worker who simply enjoys meeting new dogs. His name is Jason Hardesty and he is from New Orleans, Louisiana. If there is one thing you should know about Jason, it is that he is madly in love with dogs. That’s why he clicks pictures and uploads them on his Instagram account. Along with the picture, he also writes dog names as the caption!

UPS Bae is the hero college students need in these fraught times.

These are fraught times to be alive in America, especially for college students. The unabated coronavirus pandemic is now ravaging campuses across the country, with universities often unprepared to curb the spread and a federal government that’s been hands-off. College students need a hero right now, a beacon of light to remind them the darkness will eventually subside.

For the last two weeks, TikTokers have been simping for UPS Bae, the chiseled delivery man with supermodel good looks who’s been servicing students at Penn State. A visit from UPS Bae can instantly brighten a person’s day—and thanks to a series of viral TikToks that feature him, people all around the country are feeling the secondhand joy (and sheer, carnivorous horniness) that comes from a UPS Bae delivery.

A Central Texas UPS driver and delivery truck were hit by a shotgun blast Friday afternoon fired by a Gholson area resident who was angry because the truck was “kicking up too much dust” in front of his house, McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said.

The driver, whose name wasn’t released, was struck by a single pellet and wasn’t seriously injured.

After 32 years of delivering packages for UPS, Randy Sharp is making the jump into retirement.

“I never did look this far ahead. I was hoping that I would, but when you’re young you don’t think about being at the age of retirement, really. I mean, you want to do that, but until it actually happens, it’s like the time went by fast,” said Sharp.

On Thursday, Sharp’s family and friends held a retirement party at the Knox City Airport to show how much his service over the years meant to them and the community.
