Years ago a friends parents had one of these----complete with clear plastic seat covers. Nothing like clear plastic seat covers on a warm day.
...if you like second degree burns. This car should have a 383 2 barrel if it's an American model. A 361 if Canadian. Christine's fugly cousin. Virgil Exner's designs grow on you in time.

Nope. M274 mule.

First used by the USA army then used by every other branch I believe after they realized how versatile they could be.


It was the first vehicle whose payload was more than what it weighed. Pretty cool little things.

Weren't they based on the forward control Jeep?

Yeah my grandpa had it. He put a windshield on it and a bunch of stuff.


It ran the last time it was moved I think but tht was probably 8-10 years ago. It's headed to the brother in laws next weekend. He's making it his winter project.

Does it have that flat-head 4-cyl Willys engine?
