Yeah I would go apply at FedEx. I think the best your can do now is wish upon a star, fill your pockets with horse shoes, rabbits feet, and 4 leaf clovers and hope for the best. I would think you have a better chance at winning Powerball now. This wasn't an accident. This is straight dishonesty and you know it. You basically made it look like you did nothing for 30 minutes while you prerecorded stops, and then took lunch. After your hour lunch you completed your 30 mins of stops. The whole time while your diad was screaming at you telling you your not close to your stops. You center manager didn't even need to catch you. All it took was one person calling and saying they never got their package. They look up the completed location and see that your at McDonald's a mile away. Game over.

1 or 2 stops you can forget about completing but not 30 mins worth. I had stops I prerecorded and forgot about until I was back at the building trying to punch out. Or forgot to hit stop complete (usually the commercial/residential tag) until I got to next stop. Little mistakes like that happen and don't indicate you are trying to be dishonest. You must have done it on a regular basis and got flagged for scrutiny. Maybe if you admit guilt and act contrite you might get your job back. Depends on work history and how bad the center manager needs you.

There are stories I hear of old timers that used to take 2+ hour lunches all the time. They would write down liscense plate numbers as tracking numbers to make it look like they were working. We are talking 30+ years ago.

323-999 id xxx the old J C Penny shipper number. Paper records. 25 years ago that was the Amazon of the day. Not that I ever did it..........or will admit too.

Thank you peanut gallery. I know I messed up and I admit it. ive been written up once for being late and never filed a grievance. I just would like to know if anyone has gotten their job back after something like this.

I guess for the reason I can say I got lazy after lunch and needed some extra time.

Safety checks my foot. I haven't yet read the 5 pages of responses so someone might've already said this...this was not your first time completing stops while not driving. You popped up on their radar...and center manager came out to catch you in the act.
