The event’s ostensible focus was climate change, Mr. Gore’s signature issue. But the wider message of the gathering, 16 years after the recount fight that begot the presidency of George W. Bush, was unsubtle: As Mrs. Clinton seeks to encourage registration efforts and convince Americans that every ballot counts, Mr. Gore is the Democrats’ ambulatory cautionary tale.
“Now, for those of you who are younger than 25, you might not remember the election of 2000 and what happened here in Florida,” he said, addressing students from Miami-Dade College, among others in attendance. “For those of you older than 25, I heard you murmuring just now.”

Soon, a chant rang out: “You won!”

So you read that and came away with this:
Why just last week when hillary was with Al Gore, they were still contesting his lost to Bush in Florida, no matter how many recounts they got.

Sure, Republicans are treasonous bastards. How else would someone like Donald Trump gain so much popularity? Hillary Clinton is seemingly impervious to any controversy even while acknowledging that the Saudis and Qataris are backing ISIS while she is accepting their money and prattling about women’s rights.

Both flawed candidates.. Trump is a joke and Hillary is a dangerous liar.

Too bad Johnson/Weld aren't getting more traction. Hopefully J/W can get a few delegates to makes things interesting.

Trump is not a joke, and Hillary is not a dangerous liar.

Johnson/Weld may very well be a joke, though. That could be why they aren't getting any traction. I doubt they will take any delegates in Maine or Nebraska, and it's tough to take the entire state of New Mexico. J/K will get under 15% in NM when it's all done.

Find a better candidate if you want a Libertarian government. Start at the local level and attract people to your platform, if that is possible.

Your vote is meaningless in CA, anyway. That's the way the Founders planned.

TOS thoughts on latest polls?

YA, NONE of them are good for DRUMPF and the likelyhood of a DRUMPF victory is down to 13%

Hillary led DRUMPF going into the 3rd debate with a +6 margin, and monday, YOU will see the effects of DRUMPFS disastrous performance in the new polls.

Of course, you will CLING to right wing INTER polling, which is about as accurate as anything NEWFIE posts, and while that may give you hope, it wont really be real.

Those INTER polls, are only designed to GIVE YOU HOPE, so you wont turn away from the polls when it becomes clear that you will lose, and THAT is the biggest fear of the DRUMPF campaign.

They know they are LOSING and LOSING "BIGLY", and once you people figure it out, you may just stay home on election day.

So, I have faith in the national polls, they have never been wrong in modern day era scientific polling.

TOS.
