Exactly. If you're openly admitting oh we fixed that in the supplement or you can fix that in the supplement. Then you're admitting the national has flaws and needs rewritten.

Any more info you might as well just read the whole contract yourself. Seriously brother there are a tons of people giving bad info that many opt to believe with little to no proof just because they say to “vote no” but they all question the :censored2: out of me when give legit contactual language. SMH. I have said from day 1 that a yes or no vote depends on the supplements and riders and NOT the NMA.

The Supplements and Riders gives each Local supreme sovereignty to do what the members want. Some locals like 804 use that power and others don’t. Trying to say you want to be governed by the NMA is like saying you want a socialistic society instead of independence.

Except there was language added to the national this time to supersede local language on certain issues. It can be added whenever they want for any other supplements they feel are a thorn in their side.

Nothing in the NMA changed what you already have as far as guarantees. Some locals upgraded their supplements and riders while others didn’t. I can tell you I would vote no if I were in some of your regions supplements.

Cover Drivers in our supplement make 75% of top scale. Which is a little over $27 an hour.

When they go fulltime their years as a Cover driver go towards their progression and they take their pay with them till they reach top scale.
Cover drivers? Are you referring to those of us who are in the progression?

....and with all of that in mind, @LagunaBrown thinks that UPS will continue to utilize cover drivers if this 22.4 hybrid drivers language passes?

Cover Drivers in my opinion will finally be used for their original purpose. They will cover vacations, disability, work comp, jury duty and sick calls for all FT drivers and 22.4s.

They will no longer driver year round because 22.4s will work before them.

I'm still looking for that $27\hr. I've checked my paystub three times.

After all this I have realized you don’t know very much. How many jobs have you saved or money have you won for the membership? Have you ever told Labor or your center manager that they HAVE to hire 8 more drivers and made it happen through the grievance process? Have you had members call you at night because of death, their wife left them or they are in jail? You sit in a soft seat complaining and attacking the people that protect our contract daily. People that KNOW the language. You can’t even get elected in your own local let alone get a beat on your own contract language yet you act like you have a say in ours? Stop trying to throw a wrench (or should I say emoji charms) in everything because it will never change the fact that there are people actually working for the members in the real world that are making a difference. When you take a look at it in perspective it makes this whole website laughable. Carry on in you fantasy world of meme’s, clever one liners and negativity. Obviously it fills your void and makes you feel like a TEAMSTER in some weird way.

That was an impassioned anecdote, and perhaps now with all of that out of your system and so many repressed feeling revealed, maybe you could just answer the question???

Why would the Company continue to utilize temporary cover drivers in the all mighty West if the 22.4 hybrid driver language proposed in the Master passes???

....doesn't seem like a good business decision.
