"The cloud" is simply another way of saying server side storage/processing for the non-tech savvy. You'd think after seeing how many companies have had data stolen people would be a little more security/privacy minded and stop putting all their life, personal information and data out there for anyone who asks for it. I say just spend $60 for an external hard drive and call it a day, but maybe I'm just too techie.

If you get a discount from your employer with your current provider ask if your fee will be waived. They wont do it unless you ask. I have sprint and haven't had an upgrade fee since I started with them.
It's not a hard concept at all. They store your info for you on their servers.
Its the most overrated smartphone there is. I just don't see the big deal. And I'm a moderate Apple fanboy.

I want something with a battery that lasts more than a day but isn't a freakin "Phablet."
I like the larger screen. As long as it fits in my pocket to some extent I don't care if it's really big. I have a 7" android tablet too which can fit in the pocket of my cargo shorts so a "phablet" would definitely fit.
Im going from the NOTE 2 to the Note 4. That's the way the phone scene works. You skip every other year and the 2 year is when the phone really gets upgraded. Always been like that, you skip a cycle to get the bigger upgrades.
My wife complained about the upgrade fee, and the people over the phone cut it in half for each of the 5 lines.
