I've seen them DQ drivers before the 30 days. It's usually poor driving skills and not necessarily the over / under.Should at least get the full 30 days.

Yeah dude, you could make it....minus 25+ years.Definitely can't have missed pieces. It's hard trying to qualify anymore. If I was a newbie again, im not sure that I would qualify.

We only have had two out of the last 7 not make it.It's ridiculous anymore. Then they scratch their heads when the newbies quit.
But will they stay?We only have had two out of the last 7 not make it.
One was off the street and it was a dumpster fire. Worst I've ever seen. A supe recommended this clown for employment.
The other one was as slow working outside the building as he was inside.
The rest made it.

Well said.Well it's an elite job, you have to have the mentality and fortitude to do this kind of work, unfortunately today's pool of eligible employees is shrinking(that and there are even more people applying since unemployment is so high) and you are getting anyone who wants to make a buck, unfortunately this line of work isn't for everyone. You'll find the vast majority(not all) of folks in this line of work, are former athletes, and go getters...
OP said "next time I'll go balls to the wall" guess what OP, it should have been "balls to the wall" this time, every time. This job isn't for slackers, the tough survive and stay.
They have. No one has quit. There's strong support for them from the stewards. That makes a difference. But will they stay?
We have had many guys quit. Some at top rate with more than 5 years of service. They have. No one has quit. There's strong support for them from the stewards. That makes a difference.
That's a good business plan isn't it? Ridiculous. We have had many guys quit. Some at top rate with more than 5 years of service.
Treating people a little better would go a long way. That's a good business plan isn't it? Ridiculous.
Evidently you know more than the pds we had.Treating people a little better would go a long way.
But what do I know?
The newbies are definitely a different generation of workers. They don't seem to want this job as bad as we did when we started.Evidently you know more than the pds we had.
