What are the options integrad will accept for boots?

Not in intergrad yet but basically the only thing they've looked for is clean suede or polished leather in a shoe that is not "formal" and also does not have big logos or goretex/rubber everywhere.

REI has a pair of all-brown suede hiking shoes that works great but I can't recommend them unless you get them for under $80.

These 29.99 boots from Wal-Mart will do . I made it through integrad with them in Duluth, ga.

Just make sure it's a workboot or workshoe. Polishable black or brown leather. I went to Atlanta for integrad. They are very familiar with what is and isn't a work boot/shoe. They will look it up if they are not sure and make you go buy something else. Sketcher has both boots and shoes and we get a 35% discount.

I am curious how strict they actually are at intergrad for shoes. I have merrell brown suede shoes right now and have gotten crap in the past for them not having "ankle protection" whatever that means. Ankle high boots suck.

Go for some insoles too.
