Who calls to complain about not knocking instead of being rude? The OMS just texted me about this guy who complained I didn't knock yesterday. I didn't knock, but I didn't have to. He knew I was there. What a pansy. Why is it not PC to be able to bitch slap people like this.
I dropped off an Amazon box that was about the size of a medium laptop. It turns out it was a laptop...Yesterday goes down like this.
Halfway back to truck, guy comes out.
GUY: You're supposed to knock or get a signature.
ME: Your package does not require a signature.
GUY: You didn't knock.
ME: How did you know I was here?
GUY: I heard you on the porch.
ME: Well, I guess I really didn't need to knock then did I?
GUY: What if I wasn't home then it would have just sat out for people to rip me off.
ME: If you weren't home, you would have never known if I knocked or not. The package would have been left just like it already was. Cya.
Maybe what I said wasn't rude so maybe that's why he didn't complain about it. But really, for not knocking...

I used to deliver to that town. There are some bat
crazy bastards there. UPS wouldn't send black drivers to the town for about 15 20 years because some people surrounded a package car told the driver to tell UPS if they sent another black driver there they would kill them, and shot up the package car.

I would imagine they would if the Black drivers don’t feel safe because of their skin color. There are a few brown people I work with who don’t like my route because they say there are too many White people and not enough Brown people.
