I rarely see kids on bikes anymore. Even in rural town USA.

Everybody had some form off technology now whether it be a smartphone,a video game console or a tablet

He was 2 1/2 when we got it for him. It taught him how to balance and steer when most kids were still learning how to just peddle with training wheels.

The problem the Yankee's face is their fan base is a very large percentage of right of center white guys. They don't play the identity politics game.

If you want to go bigger, this is the same problem Democrats will face in the next election. The party has moved far left, alienating middle suburban voters. They don't like the "blame America" politics. President Obama was able to write these voters off due to huge urban turnout, but Hillary learned you can't do this long term.

I prefer to let my kid fall 100 times and have bruises and cuts all over and possibly be too scared to ride til 8 years old.

Some kids do have fear but probably need to be forced anyway.


I’ve got a friend who has a 10 year old. I’m honestly not sure if he rides a bike still.

I had no training wheels or anything. I had lots of bumps and bruises.

Kids now have bikes that fit them at 2-3 years old though. We didn’t bikes until 5-6. So more training aids make sense for kids that young.
