I didn’t pay attention. All I heard was they brought them over from Ft. Lauderdale. There was a much better band in the bar around the corner. THAT band was on fire. I realized they were a serious band when the tall, dorky guy in the corner on guitar started singing Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get it On like he owned it. They even dared to play an Earth, Wind and Fire song…..and did it very well.
