Think he meant things that are illegal and are punished by the courts. Zip your pants back up pal
It's not legal. It's just that it was ruled that the NCAA has no legal grounds for punishing a university for such things.

They took scholarships away from Penn state but were forced to give them all back after an appeal.
Oh. So I can't replace handshakes with assgrabs when I meet people then? Gotcha.

That's just crazy. So they're supposed to police themselves?
No. The courts punish them. Pretty much is what it comes down to.

Personally i think anyone known to cover up something like rape should also be put in jail if they have proof they knew about it.

I mean some of these allegations are things like 10 football players raping a girl at once. That shows these kids essentially thought they could get by with anything.

NCAA has no right to enforce laws and administrate legal punishment. They are not a legal body.

Sanctions they can do but going beyond that is over reach.

I am suprised they haven't put in something like the NFL has where if you damage the image or reputation of the NCAA you could get in trouble
I don't see how they don't have some type of clause. I mean is the NCAA forced to accept all universities. Like could they kick them out for something like this?

But they are largely not being allowed to levy sanctions over things like this.

Let's be realistic if ever there were a case for the "death penalty" this is it.

Death penalty should be for repeated violations after you have been put on probation. Is this bad ? Yes. I don't think it reaches death penalty though

So sad right now. Just found out one of my coworkers had a massive heart attack onroad and didn't make it. Super nice guy. He might have been 50 years old. Everyone is stunned. :(
