But so much of it comes down to that on the simplest of terms. I mean it's so funny to me that religion (which is basically where we get our morals from) is responsible for such a large percentage of violence over the course of human history.

The amazing thing to me is Islam was perhaps the most tolerant religion when it was initially formed. The Dhimma system was used to treat people fair, but has been perverted to the extreme.
