KILL KILL!!
chartreuse seems to be a universal color for crappie. It is popular down here. I've also had good luck with yellow/white feather jigs

I have a ton of those small hair jigs. I use them for bluegill. When the gills get on beds, it gets nasty. Put a meal worm on one of those hair jigs and fish with a slip cork. Ton of fun. Hate cleaning gills tho. Especially a big male gill

I think my rods were black magic crappie rods. I really liked them. they were fiberglass, and pretty heavy. I'm sure they've gone to something lighter by now. Graphite or some kind of composition.

I need to go catch some redear one of these days. Everywhere I used to go for redear either has a motor limit now or it's been fished to death.

The guide we used last week broke out a sawsall, modified to use a filet blade. I imagine as many fish as he cleans, a regular electric filet knife would burn up inside of a month.

Exactly what my buddy said they used in Alabama. But they caught a bunch of sheep head. said the Guide told him electric knives won't last them but a week they burn through blades so much

The guide we used last week had some kind of troll motor that would hold you in one spot and compensate for windage. He never used an anchor because of all the trees he had sunk on the bottom. he had a wireless remote as well.

Nice!!! Those things are expensive. I've looked at those Power Poles for my boat as well and just too damn much.

Yeah, he said it was 36 volt, too. I have a hard time keeping up with 2 batteries, let alone 4 or 5.

Hell I went through a stretch there my ex wife's battery went to hell in her car, then 3 days later my battery went to hell in my truck. That sucked because I was at the river and had to have my buddy come jump me so I could get the boat out. It was a mess
