I no longer have the pictures but when I was stationed in Texas I watched a couple of smaller tornadoes touch down within 5 miles of the base. They were small but did manage to trash a nearby trailer park. It was cool to watch them come down out of the wall cloud and then go back up.

A tornado destroyed the little town in Texas my grandparents lived in. Their house was one of the few left standing. It had marks in the brick from straw hitting it.
