40 and 50 are almost the same size on the outside and a 50 doesn't cost much more. Just less efficient if you don't use much water.

I have to assume that he replaced what was there before. I didn't ask-----all I cared is that I had not water the next morning.

How much does something like a Cessna 150 go for now?

Really depends on what youre looking for Avionics wise. There really is no standard set up. If I ever get one it will be a 172. Not a fan of the 150/152
